Temple McLin White, 67, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away on December 15, 2025.

Born January 3, 1958, Temple was a forever student - curious, thoughtful, and always learning. She devoted her career to helping children as a behavioral analyst, bringing patience, insight, and compassion to the families she worked with. At home, she had an extraordinary gift for interior design. Temple's taste was impeccable, and she could make any space feel beautiful, warm, and intentional.

Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than time with them. She also loved being outside and on the water, finding peace in nature. Temple loved the buffalo, an animal that symbolizes strength and held special meaning for her. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of a great lobster meal, a glass of Baileys and the comfort of her sweet kitty, Buddy.

Temple is survived by her mother, Joyce Temple; her children, Taylor Martin (Jack Martin) and Karns White; and her grandchildren, McLin Martin and Cooper Martin.

A service to celebrate Temple's life will be held at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home on January 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park.
