BLACK HAWK- Terry "Clarence" William Stoltz, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023. At Rapid City Monument Heath hospital.

Terry was born December 10, 1956, in Pierre, SD at St Mary's Hospital. The oldest child of Melvin and Marcella "Tommie" (Anderson) Stoltz.

Terry worked for Stanley Johnson Construction until he started working at Dacotah Cement Plant in 1978. Terry made a long-lasting career at the cement plant starting off in the finish mills and working his way up to production as an overhead crane operator. He was employed 41 years retiring in 2019.

Terry was married 19 years, becoming the proud parent of Katie Lynn Stoltz and Kip Kyler Stoltz.

Some of Terry's enjoyments included being outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing with his kids and friends. Once a year, he looked forward to a river trip down the Cheyenne with his friends, "The River Rats."

Survivors include daughter, Katie Stoltz, son, Kip Stoltz, both of Rapid City; brother, Rodney (Dawn) Stoltz of Black Hawk; brother, Todd Stoltz (the late Jodi Lehman) of Washington; niece, Jenn (Stoltz) Jeff Larson of Sioux Falls and great nephews: Jacob and Jameson Larson; grandsons: Dylan and Kaden Putnam (children of Kip Stoltz.)

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and niece Jessica Stoltz.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 24th at 2:00pm to 3:00 pm with service at 3:00pm at Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home. Followed with a Celebration of Life at Meadowbrook Golf Course restaurant, Marco's Pizza, after service.
