Rapid City--Thelma LaFontaine, 89, died at a local nursing home on Monday, November 1, 2010. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, at First United Methodist Church. Burial, with military honors provided by Rushmore VFW Post 1273 at the South Dakota National Guard, will be in Black Hills National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
