OREM, UTAH | It is with a heavy heart we announce that Thomas Hutchison, 62, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Tom is survived by his wife, Sandy of 41 years, his two sons Christopher (Wendy) and Ryan, granddaughters, Morgan, Grace, Avery, and Paige, sisters, Barbara Clauson and Sandie Hutchison, and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in law, friends, co-workers, and outlaws. Tom was born in Rapid City, SD, and served in the U.S. Army. After returning to Rapid City, Tom worked at Boyd's Drug Mart for approximately 10 years. In 1990, Tom moved his family to Utah where Waste Management Inc. continued to have the honor of employing Tom for the past 26 years. Tom loved the Dallas Cowboys and was an avid billiards player, fisherman, hunter, golfer, Harley-Davidson rider and karaoke singer. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Irene Hutchison, brothers Mike and Jim Hutchison, and sister Joanne Davis (Hutchison). A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. at Osheim Schmidt Funeral Home. Join us afterwards for a reception in honor of Tom at the VFW. Interment will be at Black Hill National Cemetery where a family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Heart Association or the local VFW in Tom's name.
