Thomas J. Vucurevich, 79, of Rapid City died Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Monument Hospice House with his family by his side.

Tom was born on December 21,1944 in Sioux Falls, SD.

He graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1963 and received a degree in business from Black Hills State College.

Tom married Claudia Ireland in 1972 in Rapid City.

He was a DJ for KRSD Radio, Rushmore State Bank and eventually president of United Corporation.

Work was Toms' hobby.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia, Rapid City, his son, Kent (Beckie), Sioux Falls and his daughter Ruth, Rapid City.  His grandsons; Jackson and Preston, Sioux Falls, his sister, Susan Rule, Colorado Springs, CO, his Aunt Mara Vucurevich, Rapid City and his cousins Anna (Chris) Jenkins and Diana (Jason Fogland) Vucurevich.

Tom was preceded in death by his dad John Vucurevich and mother Genevieve (Gibson) Vucurevich, his children; Heidi and Brian Vucurevich.

A private inurnment will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00am at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Rapid City.

In lieu of flowers due to allergies by family members, donations may be made to the; Muscular Dystrophy Association, Ups With Downs, Lifescape, Rapid City YMCA, Emmanuel Episcopal Church or to the Monument Hospice House.
