Todd Myron Pond 56 of West Allis, WI and Rapid City, SD passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Todd was born March 3, 1964 in Bowman, ND to Holly M. and Judy Pond. He graduated from Bowman High School in 1982. He married his best friend since fourth grade, Lesli Hawk on December 27, 1982. They were blessed with two sons and would have celebrated 38 years of marriage at the close of 2020.

He worked in the oil fields of North Dakota prior to joining the United States Airforce in 1987. He was stationed in Germany and Alaska, where he was crew chief on the C130. He finished 20 years of military service at Ellsworth Air Force Base as a contractor and reached the prestigious rank of Master Sargent. Retirement didn't stop his dedication to the United States. He returned to civilian service as a training officer, network contractor for Veteran's Affairs and was planning his second retirement.

Todd loved cooking, fishing, hunting, and boating. Most of all he loved his family, especially his four grandchildren. He was most proud to have served his country.

Todd is survived by his wife: Lesli Pond of Rapid City, SD; sons: Mathew (Katelind) of St. Cloud, MN, Cameron (Devann) of Rapid City, SD; his parents, Judy and Holly Pond of Bowman, ND; brothers, Daniel(Tina) of WA, Darin (Lisa) of WA, and Tracy of ND; sister, Heidi (Glen) Hanson of ND; 4 grandchildren Hudson, Huxley, Theodore, Jack, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
