He came into the world smiling on January 11, 1999, captivating his parents.
Ty's presence was known by his tall physique and big "I love you" smile. Yet his nickname Tyger didn't quite fit his tender heart. Without question Ty was an instant friend. He always had a listening ear for anyone, and his friends would agree that he was the one to always make sure everybody was okay.
Ty loved everything about life from pick-up basketball, to baseball or tennis on a late summer night. Ty loved and enjoyed every friend and family member, but his older brother, Cody, was by far his best friend. The two were inseparable, traveling to concerts, listening to music, and challenging each other to video games. Ty even enjoyed the minutes he spent getting in trouble for picking on his little sister, Lexie. He cared so much for her and was always there to pick her up, offer untaken advice, and let her tag along just because. Even after starting at Western Dakota Tech, where he studied computer science, he remained ever present in his families' lives. Ty was more of a brother than a cousin and had an especially close friendship with Grayson and Gabe. Ty knew the value of family through the love of his parents and grandparents.
His favorite things were Jenni, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chicago Bulls, good music, fishing, and hanging out with his closest friends.
His love lives in parents Robin Scott, Lee Scott, brother Cody Scott (Cassie Bobzin), sister Lexie Anna Scott, and girlfriend Jenni Munoz, grandparents Bob and Sandy Nelson, and Keith Kudlock, aunts, uncles, and cousins, Casey, Summer, and Logan Eisner, Wayne Eisner, Trygve, Mindy, Jackson Peterson, Skyler Livingston, Grayson, Gabe, Alyssa, and Brynlee Nelson, Will, Paola, and Samuel Nelson, Trinity, Jacob, Emelia, and Jovi Rapp, Anna, Travis, Colt, Ellie, Eva, and Indie Eckert. Tom and Jennifer Nelson, Heidi, Cora and Julie Nelson. David and Judy Kudlock, Megan and Darlette Thackery, and Courtney K. Excited to see him in heaven are Levi, his grandma Donna Kudlock, great-grandparents, and his great-aunt Nancy.
A memorial in his name has been established at First Interstate Bank in Hill City.
Celebrate Ty by loving and watching out for those around you. Smile and remember.
