Virginia A. Tuscher, 78 died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. Virginia Ann Fedde was born July 22, 1933 at Rapid City to Raymond Preston Clifford and Alma Isabelle [Egemo] Fedde. This is where she grew to adulthood and attended school, graduating from Rapid City High School and she kept her friendship with classmates with monthly luncheons. She married James Francis Tuscher in 1958 at Wolf Point, Montana. They lived in Rapid City where Virginia worked for attorneys and judge's all her working career as a legal secretary. She had a wonderful memory for numbers and address'. She was a hard worker and a professional secretary and a loving mother and grandmother. Her three grandsons and her one great-granddaughter were very special to her. Virginia was blessed with many friends and she would always keep in touch with them with her telephone conversations. She always had all sorts of people over for the holiday's that were welcomed into her home for meals. She would never judge people and would welcome any person into her home as she was not prejudice. Virginia was a very generous person and gave to many organizations and charities and to individual people and she religiously visited people at the nursing home and would hand deliver hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes to individuals. She was a caring person and always cared for the elderly. She was a lover of animals and she took care of many animals including: Hansel, Gretel, Jeannie, Herby, and Willard. She owned many dogs in her life time including her beloved poodle, Freddy. He husband, Jim, was the love of her life. Jim has been at Ft. Meade near Sturgis for the past 20 months and he wrote a special love letter to Virginia on how much he loved her and this letter meant so much to Virginia. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Survivors include her husband: James Tuscher of Ft. Meade; two daughters: Bridget [Greg] Stone and Suzette [Thomas] Ryland both of Rapid City; three grandsons: Zachary Maurice Stone, Cody James Stone, and Rory John Stone; one great-granddaughter: Isabella Marie Stone; and one special beloved pet: Freddy. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Daniel Donald Tuscher on April 21, 1979. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 12 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4500 Jackson Boulevard with Rev. Tyler Dennis presiding. Burial of cremains will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery at Rapid City. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Rapid City.
