Wendall Kenneth Roling was born on January 27, 1937, in Marcus, Iowa, to Gilbert and Marie (Grage) Roling. He grew up in the Kingsley area and attended Kingsley High School, graduating in 1955. On December 17, 1955, he married the love of his life, Darlene Koch, at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley.

Together, Wendall and Darlene built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories with 70 years of marriage. They were blessed with four children: JoEtte, Tamela, Kevin, and Jeffrey.

Wendall was a family man at heart. He treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and took great pride in watching his family grow. He enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors, as well as snowmobiling and motorcycle riding. He was also a true car enthusiast and took great pleasure in cars and everything that came along with them.

Wendall had a way of making memories that his family and friends will carry with them for years to come. Whether gathered around a campfire, enjoying time outdoors, talking about cars, or simply spending time together, the moments shared with Wendall were special and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter, JoEtte (Randy) Hiemstra, and their children, Erica and Allan Witt, Scott and Janna Hiemstra, and Amanda Winter; daughter, Tamela Roling and her children Aime, Brad, Carie, Bill; son, Kevin (Tammy) Roling, and their children, Kendra Roling, Kayla and Devin Maher, and Kortney Roling; and son, Jeffrey (Desiree) Roling, and their children, JoAnn and Terrence Merry and John Roling. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Gloria Roling; nieces, nephews and special friends, Clint and Judi Hall and their children, Jen, John, Austin, and Reece.

Wendall was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Marie Roling; brothers, Ronald, Elroy, Danny, and Kelly; and sister-in-law, Marge Roling.

Wendall leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, memories, and a family who will forever carry him in their hearts. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
