William A. Bayliss, 81, Rapid City, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Lois F. Bayliss, Rapid City; five daughters, Sharon Greer, Vacaville, Calif., Tami Pangelina, Benicia, Calif., Liza Wheeler, Renton, Wash., Jennifer Simmons, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Kathryn Jenkins, Midlothian, Va.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thurday, August 26, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 27, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Cleveland officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by Rushmore VFW Post 1273 and the South Dakota National Guard, will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery. Memorial have been established to Black Hills Workshop.
