William R Hodges Jr. died peacefully on March 11 following a lengthy illness at Aventera Mt View Rapid City, SD.

He was a gentle soul who gave anyone help if needed or not. He loved his beloved Cavalier Spaniel Bob and cat Junior.

He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and photography. He was also Star Trek “trekkie”.

Bill retired at Vandenberg Air Force Base California in 1995 as a Technical Sergent working as missle Inspector General.

He moved to Rapid City in 2001 to enjoy riding in the hills and “escape” California.

A military honor service will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery at 3:00, March 20.
