William “Bill” Anthony Muldoon, 73, passed away on April 23, 2026, at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota.

He was born May 30, 1952, to Henry and Esther Muldoon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Immediately after completing high school, he served in the U.S. Navy and following his service to the armed forces, he worked in construction, carpentry, and leatherworking.

Bill married Patricia “Pat” Countryman on October 31, 1998. They spent their time together playing billiards and darts, and when the grandchildren came along, he could always be found attending their activities and being involved with them. Bill will be remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Pat Muldoon, stepson Steven Gering, sister Katie, brother Jerry, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Esther Muldoon, son Lee Muldoon, and stepdaughter Angie Hinker.
