William A. "Bill" Wozna, Sr. was born May 12, 1939 in Utica, NY to Julia Wozna. Bill was raised in New York with his brother, Bob Wozna.

Bill passed away on October 13, 2018 at the Ft Meade Hospice Care unit.

Bill was united in marriage to Mary Atwood on June 28, 1958.

He spent 20 years, 10 months and 1 day in the United States Air Force with many tours in Vietnam.   He retired as a Master Sergeant.

Bill enjoyed many activities, including; golfing, swimming, gardening, pickle ball and competing in the Senior Games where he won many medals.

His mother preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary K. Wozna, his son, Bill Wozna, Jr., his daughters; Debra Lacy, Tamela Schmidt and their husbands; Al Lacy and Rick Schmidt. Bill had twelve grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of GREAT friends.

Bill will always be in our hearts.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am until service time at 10:30, Friday, October 19, 2018 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Interment with military honors will be at 12:00pm at Black Hills National Cemetery.
