Zachary "Zach" Lewis, 31, died Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Zachary Michael Lewis was born Cody Patrick Lewis on April 23, 1993 to Sarah (Lewis) Stafne. He would later be adopted by his grandmother Donna (Lewis) Merwin and his name changed to Zachary Michael Lewis.

Zach loved to learn new things. The languages he learned were, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish. He was also learning guitar, piano and violin. He also loved to sing. He loved gaming especially with his best friend/ brother Tyler and sharing inside jokes with him or just sending memes back and forth to each other. He was into anime, drawing, dark humor and playing DnD. He was very dedicated to working out and fitness, sometimes spending hours a day at the gym. He was very proud of how hard he worked on getting into shape.

He spent most Sunday evenings with his mother (Sarah), Stepfather Jason and siblings Alicia, Tyler and Jaden for family dinner night. He also enjoyed spending time with his special friends Mani and Nick and their children. Zach was always larger than life in personality and loved his family and friends very much.

He is survived by his mother Sarah and stepfather Jason Stafne; his siblings: Alicia, Tyler, and Jaden; and other stepfather Richard Merwin; grandparents Kevan and Gertrude Stafne; aunts: Jeanne, Drena, Lola and Tammy; uncles: John, Chris and Raymond; and great-grandmother Eva Lewis.

Zach was preceded in in death by his adopted mother/grandmother Donna Merwin, grandfather Patrick Lewis, uncles Stephen and Frank, great grandparents John and Connie West and great grandfather Chuck Lewis.

His Celebration of Life picnic for Zachary will take place on June 7th, 2024 at 5 PM at Canyon Lake picnic shelter #3, 4011 Jackson Blvd. Food will be provided; however, if you would like to bring a dish for the celebration, please feel free. Any questions please contact Tyler at 605-415-1334.
