Evelyn J. Solano, 87, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 3, 1933, in Cottonwood, South Dakota to Virgil and Lila (LaBeau) Woods. Evelyn graduated from Kadoka High School and married Frank Solano.  They moved to Rapid City and she was employed at Control Data, Meadowood Lanes and with the Rapid City Parks Department.  She enjoyed going to Deadwood, fishing in the Hills and being with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Steven) Aughenbaugh, Box Elder, 2 sons, Bill Solano and John (Jodi Brown) Solano, of Rapid City, 2 brothers, Danny Woods and Larry Woods, of Rapid City; 3 sisters, Myrna Clough, Virginia Syverson and Louise Kleinschmit, of Rapid City; 7 grandchildren, numerous great grand children, and a great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Solano, Sr., her daughter, Rosemary Martin, her son, Frank LeRoy Solano, and brother, Buzz Woods.
